Preoperative sentinel node mapping with 99mTc-nanocolloid SPECT-CT significantly reduces the intraoperative sentinel node retrieval time in robot assisted laparoscopic cervical cancer surgery

► We compared two mapping modalities in assisting a robotic sentinel node procedure. ► SPECT-CT cuts sentinel node surgery by 25 min compared to lymphoscintigraphy. ► SPECT-CT can more reliably predict the intraoperative sentinel node location.
