The prognostic significance of thrombocytosis in uterine papillary serous carcinomas

Thrombocytosis may be a marker of aggressive tumor biology in UPSC. Platelet-secreted growth factors may promote aggressive cancer phenotype through contribution to metastasis, invasion, and primary tumor growth.
