Performance of strabismic subjects using a validated surgical training module: A pilot study

Patients with strabismus performed more poorly than did age-matched controls in this model of hand-eye coordination. However, there was significant overlap between groups and several patients with strabismus performed better than the mean of the control group. Further investigation is required to elucidate the impact of strabismus on surgical performance.
