Urgences en oncologie thoracique

Data from the scientific literature specially dedicated to this field are very scarce and this review focus on thoracic oncological emergencies in patient with lung cancer excepted the complications following the specific treatments as chemotherapy and/or targeted therapy. The specific complications due to the thoracic cancer (superior vena cava syndrome, airway obstruction, hemoptysis, pericardial tamponade) and non specific complications related to metabolic disorders (hyponatremia, hypercalcemia) or distant metastases will be discussed.
