Réhabilitation et sarcoïdose

Dyspnea, exercise intolerance, cardiac involvement, muscle weakness, fatigue, adverse effects of systemic steroids and poor quality of life are frequent complaints in sarcoidosis. Few studies have investigated the role of rehabilitation in this disease. Yet, these clinical manifestations may improve with exercise training in other diseases such as COPD or interstitial diseases. It therefore seems legitimate to propose rehabilitation for patients with sarcoidosis and preliminary results do suggest a benefit. Home exercise maintenance programs also deserve to be studied in this pathology.
