MRI and pelvic abscesses: a pictorial review

ObjectiveThe purpose of our article was to review the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features of pelvic abscesses. Pelvic abscesses account for a wide range of abnormalities from various etiologies.ConclusionMRI is being increasingly used for pelvic exploration. Radiologists must thus be aware of their features and characteristics.
