Increased anxiety-related behaviour in Hint1 knockout mice

► Hint1 KO mice exhibit greater anxiety-related behaviour than WT littermates. ► Hint1 KO mice show a more active/hyper-aroused coping style than WT littermates in the forced swim test. ► PKCγ protein expression is increased in Hint1 KO mouse brains compared to WT littermates. ► PKC enzymatic activity is elevated in Hint1 KO mouse brain lysates.
