Ultra-slow oscillations in cortical networks in vitro

▶We report ultra-slow oscillations (<0.01 Hz) in network activity of cortical cultures. ▶Clustering analysis revealed the presence of distinct subgroups of bursts. ▶Each of the subgroups was associated with a unique motif of burst propagation. ▶The burst motifs were more consistent at the electrode level than the neuronal level.
