Simulating brown trout demogenetics in a river/nursery brook system: The individual-based model DemGenTrout

► An individual-based demogenetic model was developed for a brown trout population. ► Impact of human threats on the population demogenetic structure was evaluated. ► Barrier to migration and stocking with hatchery fish were the two tested scenarios. ► Both of them showed a strong short-term impact on the wild brown trout population.
