Vermicomposting with rock powder increases plant growth

► Silicate rock powder added to manure to obtain vermicompost did not affect earthworms. ► The growth of maize was favoured by vermicompost enriched with rock powders. ► This technology may favour the use of silicate rock in agriculture.
