Study of the biosorption of different heavy metal ions onto Kraft lignin

The heavy metal ions adsorbed on Kraft lignin followed the order: Cr(VI) ≫ Cd(II) > Cu(II) > Zn(II). The contact time of 3 h is the optimum equilibration time.
