Effects of allelochemicals produced by one population in a chemostat-like environment

► We consider three general models in a chemostat-like environment. The global stability of the model with the general uptake, the regulative and the inhibiting functions is analyzed completely. ► Some regulative functions may result in a saddle-node bifurcation. ► The model with a new inhibiting function may have three positive equilibria.
