Modeling myosin-dependent rearrangement and force generation in an actomyosin network

► We propose a new particulate-base model for actin, non-muscle myosin II, and α-actinin. ► The model reproduced dynamic rearrangements of actomyosin networks into bundles. ► Force in the network developed with an increase in the density fraction of myosin.
