Chromosome numbers of South African Umbelliferae (Apiaceae)

► Chromosome numbers of South African Apiaceae are reviewed. ► New counts are given for 12 species from nine genera. ► First counts are given for seven species and one genus (Itasina). ► The new data is discussed in the context of phylogenetic relationships.
