Comparison of linear regression models considering heteroscedasticity of fruits and flower buds of highbush blueberry cultivated in Chile

► A variance function was used in regression models of blueberry fruit and flower buds. ► The variance-covariance matrix can be parameterised with the variance function. ► The confidence bands for the predicted fruits are more suited to the number of fruits. ► The residual variance drops around 90% of constant error variance.
