Effect of 24-epibrassinolide on growth, yield, antioxidant system and cadmium content of bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) plants under salinity and cadmium stress

► Bean production was improved by using 24-epibrassinolide under stress or stress free conditions. ► Bean pod contamination with heavy metals was minimized with applying 24-epibrassinolide under heavy metal stress conditions. ► 24-Epibrassinolide supports the antioxidant system to protect plants under stress conditions.
