Cloning and characterization of 5 MADS-box cDNAs isolated from citrus fruit tissue

These results suggest that the regulatory relationships of genes involved in Arabidopsis flower and fruit development are not directly applicable to the homologous genes in Citrus and that different functions might be considered.
