Transfer kernels for finite groups II

Our study of transfer kernels for a finite group G, possibly nonabelian, was motivated by their relation to capitulation kernels in class field theory, and has reduced the problem to the case when G is a p-group. This paper introduces stronger cohomological methods of construction in this case, providing a clearer understanding of the remaining difficulties.
