Automorphisms of elliptic surfaces, inducing the identity in cohomology

We give a numerical classification for pairs (S,G) consisting of complex nonsingular projective surfaces S of Kodaira dimension one and subgroups G of automorphisms of S inducing trivial actions on H2(S,Q).
