A characterization of the tilting pair

Let A be an Artin algebra. Following Miyashita, a pair (C,T) in A-mod is called tilting provided both C and T are selforthogonal such that and . In this note, we extend a simple, beautiful characterization of tilting modules given by Bazzoni to tilting pairs in the case of Artin algebras.
