Representations of Gk-groups and twists of the genus two curve y2=x5−x

In this paper we consider the twists of the single curve of genus 2 with group of automorphism isomorphic to . To this end, we first study 2-dimensional representations of the quaternion group of 8 elements and of , both with a given Galois action.
