A new Poncelet curve for the boundary generating curve of a numerical range

In this paper, a geometrical method is developed to obtain a new Poncelet curve for the boundary generating curve of the numerical range of a certain class of contractions. An algorithm is provided for producing the equation of the new Poncelet curve. Several examples of experimental results are also presented to illustrate such new Poncelet curves.
