Extension of Matic's results

Matic (2014) [6] proved two inequalities regarding the ratio det(A+D)/det(A)det(A+D)/det(A), where A is positive definite, and D is a positive definite block diagonal matrix. In this paper, we extend these results to a larger class of matrices, namely, matrices whose numerical ranges are contained in a sector.
