Ordering trees by the Laplacian coefficients

Motivated by a Mohar’s paper proposing “how to order trees by the Laplacian coefficients”, we investigate a partial ordering of trees with diameters 3 and 4 by the Laplacian coefficients. These results are used to determine several orderings of trees by the Laplacian coefficients.
