Automorphisms of a linear Lie algebra over a commutative ring

Suppose that m ⩾ 5 and that R is a commutative ring with identity in which 2 is invertible. This paper determines all automorphisms of the standard Borel subalgebra of the orthogonal Lie algebra o(2m, R).
