Expressing intrinsic volumes as rotational integrals

A new rotational formula of Crofton type is derived for intrinsic volumes of a compact subset X⊂Rd of positive reach. The formula provides a functional defined on the section of X with a j-dimensional linear subspace with rotational average equal to the intrinsic volumes of X. Simplified forms of the functional are derived in special cases.
