Asymptotic hereditary asphericity of metric spaces of asymptotic dimension 1

Asymptotic hereditary asphericity (AHA) is a coarse property introduced by Januszkiewicz and Świa̧tkowski in the context of systolic complexes and groups. We show, that spaces of asymptotic dimension 1 are all AHA.
