Fixed point classes on symmetric product spaces

Any self-map f:X→X on a topological space X induces naturally a self-map SPnf on the symmetric product space SPnX of X. We shall show some relations among the fixed point classes of SPnf and those of f together with iterates. Some inter-actions between fixed points and periodic points are obtained.
