Rational design and synthesis of cationic Ir(III) complexes with triazolate cyclometalated and ancillary ligands for multi-color tuning

To construct efficient panchromatic cationic Ir(III) emitters and deeply understand the relationship between structures and properties, a series of Ir(III) dyes employing modified triazole-type cyclometalated and ancillary ligands are synthesized. Tuning the emission colors of resulting dyes from deep-blue to red is achieved.274
