The photocyclization-dependent ratiometric fluorescent switch: Synthesis, characterization and properties of some terpyridyl-based dithienylethenes

Some terpyridyl-based dithienylethenes were synthesized. Fluorescence spectra indicated that the triphenylamine and terpyridyl-based dithienylethene showed the photocyclization-dependent ratiometric fluorescent switch behaviors.
