Distributed set-valued estimation in sensor networks with limited communication data rate

► We investigate the distributed estimation problem in noisy WSNs with limited communication data rate. ► A distributed set-valued estimation scheme is proposed. ► The set-valued estimation strategy is extended to the distributed case in WSNs. ► Logarithmic quantization strategy is adopted to deal with the data rate constraint problem.
