Novel Fe2O3−Fe3O4 was supported on montmorillonite and modified by graphene. Montmorillonite functions as a stabilizer to maintain sizes of nanoparticles and prevent graphene agglomeration. Graphene functions as an electron-conductive enhancer to improve the separation efficiency of photo-induced electron-hole pairs. This hetero-structure nano-composite exhibited an excellent optical response and photocatalytic activity in visible light region.206
