The manufacturing process may introduce some texture into Ti6Al4V titanium alloy and therefore induce anisotropy of the mechanical properties. Analysis of the mechanical behavior of material were carried out at three various loading angles with respect to the rolling directions using four geometries of specimens, at quasi-static and dynamic loading conditions. The tensile tests were carried out using servo-hydraulic testing machine and pre-tension Hopkinson bar, respectively at low and high strain rates. Stress triaxiality during tensile tests was calculated using FEM simulation. Macroscopically observed mechanical behavior and analysis of the fracture surface shows that fracture mechanisms is strongly dependent on the loading orientation. A new fracture criterion including plastic strain, strain rate, stress triaxiality, temperature and loading orientation effect on the fracture strain was proposed
