Analysis on Biomechanical Model Vocal Cord Thickness's Effect Based on Acoustic Parameters

The target of this research is to make prototype of vocal cord which is design based on the physical character of human vocal cord. The measured parameter are Fast Fouier Transform (FFT), fundamental frequency (f0), jitter, shimmer, and Harmonic-to-Noise Ratio (HNR). Vocal cord's model made of silicone rubber [1], with some thickness modification, they are 0.8 mm and 1 mm. Based on this research, the best prototype is vocal cord's model with the thickness 1 mm because the acoustic parameter is approach with original vocal cord.
