Approximate Method of Calculating Stresses in Layered Array

Homogenization method is used in the problem of layered array with a cylindrical cavity. Boundary conditions of two types are considered on the surfaces of the layers: an ideal contact and slipping without exfoliation. The only body force is the own weight of an array.Purpose of this article is to determine approximate values of elastic stresses in a given array. As a result, the array is modeled by a homogeneous transversely isotropic half-space.
