The Concept of Coal Burning in a Cyclone Furnace

The paper presents a concept of a new cyclone furnace for combustion of solid fuel under conditions of oxy-fuel combustion, which was used in the past in cyclone combustion chambers. The principal factors and determinants of operation and performance of such combustion chambers were presented. Possible variants of integration of this combustion chamber with a pulverized-fuel boiler were also discussed.
