► I show that guessing the expected target values is not optimal even for n>2. ► I derive the level-k choice structure and fit its parameters to existing data. ► The goodness-of-fit of level-k is compared to those of high-level concepts. ► Quantal response equilibrium and noisy introspection are shown to fit better.
