Design and synthesis of chitin synthase inhibitors as potent fungicides

According to the structure of chitin synthase donor substrate, UDP-GlcNAc, as well as the modelled structure of the bacterial chitin synthase NodC, a novel scaffold with chitin synthase inhibitory activity and antifungal activity was developed.
