Direct synthesis of α-hydroxyketone phosphates from terminal alkynes and H-phosphine oxides in the presence of PhI(OAc)2 and H2O

A simple and highly efficient one-pot method for the construction of α-hydroxyketone phosphates from terminal alkynes and H-phosphine oxides has been developed in the presence of PhI(OAc)2 and H2O under mild conditions.
