Photo-regulation of 2D supramolecular self-assembly: On-surface photochemistry studied by STM

This review summarizes the recent progress on self-assemblies and reactions of molecules with different photo-sensitive groups upon photo-irradiation on solid surface probed by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) technique.
