Luminescence properties of CdTe QDs embedded in Zn5(CO3)2(OH)6 matrix

Inorganic-QD composites exhibited peak photoluminescence (PL) at 578 nm at 1.6x the intensity of CdTe QDs. CdTe@Zn5(CO3)2(OH)6 exhibited a strong yellow fluorescence emission, which offers potential applications in biological markers and light-emitting diodes.
