A three-dimensional lead borate with a fluorite net constructed from different cluster building units

A new three-dimensional lead borate was prepared under solvothermal conditions. This compound has a fluorite net constructed from two different cyclic building units: Pb3O6 and B12O24 clusters. It is an indirect-gap material with the band gap of 4.0 eV.95
