An aluminoborate directed by [Zn(H2O)4]2Â + complex: Synthesis, structure and properties

A novel 3D aluminoborate [Zn(H2O)4][Al(B5O10)]·(H2O)0.5 (1) with [Zn(H2O)4]2 + template has been solvothermally synthesized. It possesses a 3D framework built from AlO4 tetrahedra and B5O10 units. Intersecting helical channels and large odd 11-MR channels have been observed in the framework.152
