Ag2S deposited on oxidized polypropylene as composite material for solar light absorption

- We investigated deposition of a single phase Ag2S solar absorber.
- XRD analysis showed a single acanthite phase.
- Polypropylene was oxidized to induce hydrophilicity.
- AFM showed crystallite formation with self-limiting behavior.
