Structure, properties and application of a novel low-glossed waterborne polyurethane

A novel type of low gloss waterborne polyurethane matting resin (WPU) have been successfully prepared without using any matting agent. The synthesized WPU resin possesses nearly spherical shape and a broad particle size distribution in a range of 600-4000 nm. Besides, these can be used as suitable delustrant similar particles that are capable of realizing of WPU matting resin without using any matting agent. This kind of novel WPU would be widely used in polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane synthetic leather surface.
