Reducing the incubation effects for rear side laser etching of fused silica

- Near surface absorption by pre-modification with a thin metal film.
- Etching with the first pulse was observed.
- The reduction of incubation effects for LIBWE was achieved.
- Currently incubation effects are overcompensated by the surface modification.
