Effect of particle in-flight behavior on the composition of thermal barrier coatings

Relationship between the content of YO1.5 (mol%) and melting index (a function of surface temperature, velocity and spray distance) of in-flight particles, indicating YO1.5 (mol%) content significantly decreased when the melting index was higher than 2.0.
