Adsorption of surfactants on sand surface in enhanced oil recovery: Isotherms, kinetics and thermodynamic studies

- Adsorption study of SDS, CTAB, and Tergitol 15-S-7 has been done on sand surface.
- XRD and FRIR studies have been carried out for characterization of the sand particles.
- Langmuir, Freundlich, Redlich and Sips isotherms have been used to find out the best fit model.
- Effect of salt concentration and pH of the solution on adsorption were also done.
- Kinetic and thermodynamic studies of the surfactant adsorption have been investigated.
