Growth and structural characterization of orthorhombic and tetragonal SrCuO2 thin films

► Epitaxial SrCuO2 thin films have been grown on (0 0 1) SrTiO3 by pulsed laser deposition. ► By varying the substrate temperature both structural phases (orthorhombic and tetragonal) can be stabilized. ► The tetragonal phase film exhibits an one-domain microstructure and the orthorhombic phase film exhibits a two-domain microstructure.
