Constructing Ag nanoparticles-single wall carbon hybrid nanostructure to improve field emission properties

▸ Ag nanoparticles-SWCNTs hybrid composites can be easily constructed using a wet chemical process. ▸ Constructing Ag-SWCNTs emitters could improve the electrical contact by increasing the contact area between SWCNTs and substrate. ▸ The field emission properties of SWCNTs including current density and emitting image were remarkably enhanced because of improvement of contact resistance.
